The PC104-30F is a high performance multi-function i/o board for embedded systems.
All the low noise A/D, D/A & DIO functions needed for any embedded control or monitoring application is fitted. This includes 16 analog input channels with 12-bit resolution and an impressive 330kHz A/D sampling rate. Software programmable gains of 1, 10, 100, 1000 or 1, 2, 4, 8 is selectable for measuring low-level signals. As an option, the PC104-30F can be ordered with four 12-bit current sensing analog outputs.
The channel list fuction allows the automatic scanning of analog input channels and jumperless operation means interrupts & DMA are configured via software. It also has flexible digital I/O capabilities consisting of 24-lines in three ports which can be configured as inputs or outputs. The user accessible 16-bit Counter/Timer can be used to generate or measure frequency and count events or speed.
Designed to be PC/104 rev 2.3 compliant, this board will work with any PC-based PC/104 compatible processor card. It is compatible with the ISA based PC-30F Boards allowing easy migration from ISA to the PC104 Based PC104-30F.
With the PC104-30F we provide support for both our 16bit (EDR) and 32bit (EDRE) Software Developer's Kits. For older legacy systems, especially systems running under DOS, customers can use the EDR package. For new designs and customer wanting to use any of the latest Windows packages, the EDRE SDK is best. Drivers, examples and example source code are provided for most popular programming languages including delphi, C++ & Visual Basic. For users wanting to run the board straight out of the box, we provide our WaveView for Windows DAQ software package.
Supplied with each board is a set of ribbon cables terminated with standard 2.54mm IDC connectors and a PC/104 mounting kit.
